FlexRICAN consortium partner ELI ERIC will participate in the 2nd LPA Special Workshop on Intelligent Systems, taking place from January 13 to 16, 2025, at the Department of Physics, University of Oxford as a part of the Laser-Plasma Accelerator Seminars.
At this event, ELI ERIC, represented by Davorin Peceli, Laser Scientist, will present a poster on “Optimizing Energy Efficiency and Environmental Control in Modern Scientific Facilities Utilizing Machine Learning and Digital Twin Technology.” The poster is authored by Pavel Koupil and Davorin Peceli, with contributions from co-authors Patricia Buganova, Lukas Chrast, and Jakub Urban.
This is an excellent opportunity to highlight the work ELI conducts toward sustainability in RIs and engage with the broader scientific community about their success.
The workshop focuses on advancements in automation and intelligent control for high-power laser and laser-plasma acceleration (LPA) facilities. It features plenary talks, invited contributions, interactive discussions, tutorials, and poster presentations, providing a platform to share cutting-edge innovations in machine learning, diagnostics, and adaptive control systems.
FlexRICAN will also be represented at the event and we look forward to contributing to this vibrant gathering of experts and showcasing our project’s impact on energy efficiency and sustainability.
